If you are looking for arts and crafts, this is definitely your market. This market is located in Costa Marina of the Ciutadella port, open Monday through Sunday from 7 pm to 1 am. This is a very special market as it is managed by the Firac artists association. This association promotes craftsmanship in disciplines such as jewellery, macramé, ceramics, footwear and illustration artwork.
Cales Fonts Market in Es Castell
Just a 10-minute walk from ARTIEM Carlos, you will find the market of Cales Fonts in Es Castell. This flea market with a sea view is filled with arts and crafts ranging from jewellery to decorative items that bring a unique touch to your home. The market is open every day from 7:30 pm to 1 am at the ramp of Cales Fonts until September 15. After taking a stroll through its stands, enjoy a cocktail facing the ocean. Es Mercadal Market
At the Centre of Menorca next to Monte Toro, you will find Es Mercadal. It is a small town with a lot of charm and a unique market that combines arts and crafts, gastronomy and musical performances as well as of local folklore. This market operates every Thursday of July, August and September from 7 pm to 11 pm at Plaça del Pere Camps and Nou and Major streets. You will find all sorts of arts and crafts at these 18 stands, but if you are looking for the typical Menorquina avarcas (sandals), this is the perfect place to get your hands on a pair.
If you want to feel like a local resident of the island, don't hesitate to visit the market of Ferreries, the land of textile artisans. It is open all year round on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm at Plaza España and you can purchase all kinds of local products, typical pastries, charcuterie and of course local arts and crafts.
Cala en Porter Market in Alaior
Every Monday and Thursday from May to October, you can visit the Mercadillo de Cala in Porter in Alaior. Located in Plaza Grande, you can get lost amongst dozens of stands where you can purchase arts and crafts, ceramics, all kinds of decorative items and souvenirs to bring back to your family or friends. Moreover, this market is open from 7 pm to 11 pm, so hot weather will not be a problem.
